In Malaysia

Permalink - Sunday 20. Aug 2006 @ 10:59

I'm not sitting in my room at a luxury hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The KL Tower we are going to jump from are right by and I'm very excited. Tomorrow I'm thinking about taking the train to Singapore and stay there for a couple of days. It's suposed to be very nice there so of course I have to check it out.

The Alchemist

Permalink - Sunday 20. Aug 2006 @ 10:52

On my flight between Stockholm and Bangkok (9 hours) I picked up one of the books I bought at the airport, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I usually finds many of the "new classics" a bit overrated but I have thought about reading it for a while. I ended up reading the book from cover to cover without even looking away. I even had to go the the bathroom for the last 120 pages, but decided to wait because I just had to read more. The book was fantastic, absolutely one of the best I have ever read. I just can't wait to read it again.

Off to Malaysia

Permalink - Friday 18. Aug 2006 @ 07:30

In about two minutes I'm leaving my new apartment heading for Malaysia to base jump the KL Tower. I'm staying in Kuala Lumpur for almost ten days before I'm backpacking north flying back from Bangkok in the end. :)

In my new place

Right now I'm lying on my bed in my new apartment. Everything has worked out fine for now and I just have to deliver the keys to my old apartment tomorrow and I'm ready for Malaysia.

Moving

Permalink - Thursday 10. Aug 2006 @ 16:39

My current appartment was sold a lot faster than I had expected and I'm satisfied with the price. Unfortunatly I have to move out very quick because the new owners would like to have it before school starts. Next week is going to be very busy. I get the keys to my next apartment on Tuesday, move out from this one at Wednesday, give the keys to the new owners on Thursday and leave for vacation on Friday. It's going to be a busy week.

Kjerag Kjerag Kjerag

Permalink - Monday 7. Aug 2006 @ 11:21

I've been to Kjerag the last weekends and having a great time. I mostly fly my wingsuit (Vampire V1) and really getting the hang of it. This weekend we did a 16-way, I did a gainer with the suit, some close flying from exit 4 and I flew back to shore from exit 1.

Ant it's less than two weeks before I leave for Malaysia for the KL Tower Boogie :)

Hidden cameras in Japan

European tv-shows have a lot to learn from this Japanese tv-show. And keep watching, it's getting worse :)

Heliboogie and Extreme sports week

Permalink - Tuesday 11. Jul 2006 @ 09:13

The weather wasn't that good during the heliboogie (as usual), but I had a great time. I did get three jumps (all wingsuit) on Saturday, could have gotten more, but I think some of the fun is lots when you use the chopper. My last jump was a wingsuit flight from exit 8 together with Robert og Luka. I learned a lot and the flight was excellent. Robert published the video here. (I'm the one flying closest to the camera on the first flight).

The Extreme sports week was fantastic this year. For the first time in many years the weather was good as well. I only did three jumps but the people, atmosphere and the concerts made, as always, a great festival. I'll be back next year as well of course.

New apartment

Permalink - Wednesday 21. Jun 2006 @ 15:26

I just bought myself a new apartment. It's still here in Oslo, placed in Majorstua so it's not very far from where I am now. I'm getting the keys in August just a few days before I'm heading for Malaysia to jump KL Tower.

Summer

Permalink - Tuesday 13. Jun 2006 @ 14:05

The weather is perfect at the moment. All the sun and the hot weather makes me a bit sad that I'm sitting here at the office, but it's already Tuesday so the weekend is comming up :) I'll probably go to Kjerag this weekend, but nothing is certain at this point yet. The weather is supposed to stay this way for a while, so if I go I'll probably going to have an excellent time :)
