Pole dancing can be pretty fun to watch if it's done properly. But it can be even funner if not done properly :)

Romsdalen

I finally got myself a trip to Romsdalen this weekend. My knee hurts a bit so I only had two jumps but they were really good both of them. First we did a jump from Bruraskaret (see pic) and then we flew from the Bishop and passed a huge crowd of people watching from Trollstigen. Right now I only have to days left before Jen gets here, so it's time to start the cleaning back home :P

Only three days after I left Bangkok a military coup is happening there. I always miss out on the fun stuff...

Back home

Norway is cold. At least it feels like it after many weeks in Asia. Although it's quite nice to be back home as well. I had a great trip but comming back home is a good feeling. I'm a bit tired after the trip and the flight back home but also looking forward to start at work again tomorrow morning.

Advanced Open Water

Today I'm starting my advanced open water training. I should be finished late tomorrow and during those two days we are having five dives. They include dives down to 30 meters, diving with sharks (we are supposed to have 99% chance of seing sharks on one of the diving sites) and ending everything with a night dive. After I'm done I'm heading straight to Bangkok and leaving for Norway Friday night.

We arrived in Ton Sai, Krabi today and it is gorgeous here. Beautifull cliffs on all sides and a nice beach with laid back atmosphere.

Unfortunately I've lost my cell phone so sms' and calls are not recieved.

Kata Beach

Right now me and Jen are in Kata Beach having a good time. We went scuba diving yesterday. As none of us have any training we did one of those easy "Discover Scuba Diving" things where we have an instructor with us at all times and went down to about 12 meters. It was really fun(I'll post pictures later) and we saw a lot of funny fishes. I am definately taking my PADI rating during the two weeks left of my vacation. Today we only have been hanging out at the beach.

Tomorrow next stop will be Krabi.

Base jumping off KL Tower

Permalink - Monday 28. Aug 2006 @ 09:18

Yesterday the Menara KL International BASE Jump Merdeca Circuit 2006 was over. We jumped the 421 meter high KL Tower in the midle of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I did a total of ten jumps, mostly gainers and had a great time. After a whole summer of wingsuit flying it felt a bit weird to start doing aerials again, but it went fine. I'm probably going up to Thailand tomorrow to continue my vacation :)

Singapore

Permalink - Monday 21. Aug 2006 @ 15:18

I arrived in Singapore today for a short stay. So many people say this place/city/country is very special, but I feel it is very similar to the rest of the part of Asia that I have seen. The only difference is that it's more clean here, and no smoking any where. It is big fines for those things. Other than that it is very similar to KL. I think I'm going back to KL tomorrow to meet a lot of friends I haven't seen for a long time.
